The advanced energy materials research office was established in 2001, with 1 professor and 1 associate professor. Professor Yang Junyou, the leader of the research group, is currently the vice president of the school of materials science and engineering. The polymer material forming team is affiliated to the State Key Laboratory of material forming and die technology of Huazhong University of science and technology. It is mainly engaged in the research and development of basic theory, new technology and equipment of polymer material forming. The research team of "advanced forming technology and equipment" is an innovation team of the Ministry of education and Hubei Province. The fuel cell research center of Huazhong University of science and technology was established in 2004, mainly engaged in the research and development of SOFC key materials, single cell preparation, testing and system integration.
